Kathy Carroll Appears on "Design on a Dime"

Kathy worked with the show's host, Frank Fontana to complete the home's Master Bedroom.. Kathy and Frank used a HVLP sprayer with Modern Masters' Metallic Paint to complete the walls of the bedroom

Custom Tinting: Not Just for Plaster Anymore!

In response to our clients' needs, Faux by Kathy is now custom tinting a variety of products, not just lime plasters. "We have been tinting glazes, plasters -- even Blue Pearl's Shimmered Suede -- to custom colors, " Kathy notes.

The most requested service is tinting to match a Benjamin Moore or other custom paint color. Kathy says the color match is $45 plus the actual cost of the tint -- which is typically under $20. "If we already have matched the color and have it in the computer, the cost of the color match is $15 plus the cost of the tint," Kathy notes.
