Bella Sabbia

DESCRIPTION:

Bella Sabbia is an innovative acrylic multiple effects decorative coating, used for old world plaster, cracked plaster and cracked peeling plaster/paint effect.

Apply Bella Sabbia over Bella Crackle and you get a wonderful cracked plaster effect.  The surface is porous once dry, so it is best to either butter the surface with a glaze prior to glazing or use a glaze with a long open time.  This will help prevent dry lines.

Apply Bella Sabbia over Bella Crackle and the product can be pulled off to give a cracked peeled paint effect.  This finish is also very effective over an existing texture or finish.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Best applied over a well-sealed surface.  Use 100% acrylic paint or equivalent.  On wood, metal and concrete, use recommended sealer before applying Bella Sabbia.

Bella Sabbia applied to cabinets and furniture gives a very realistic weathered furniture effect.

Always seal exterior application with exterior water-based or solvent-based varnish.

Tinting:

Bella Sabbia can be tinted with both paint and universal tints.

APPLICATION:

May be applied with tools such as spatulas and trowels.

Coverage: 50-125 sq. ft. per gallon depending on the application

DRYING TIME:

Allow 2 hours to overnight, depending on film thickness (68 degrees @ 65% RH).

CLEAN UP & DISPOSAL:

Use hot water for application equipment.  Do not dispose of any product in sewers, waterways or municipal garbage.  Allow waste product to harden before disposal.  If liquid disposal is necessary, contact your local municipality or paint store for instructions.
